About
Welcome to Cuts & Slices, a beacon for pizza lovers tucked away at 93 Howard Ave in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. This trendy eatery has rapidly gained a loyal following, thanks to its innovative take on classic pies and a vibrant atmosphere perfect for casual dining or grabbing a slice on the go.
Brought to life by the same passionate owner behind its Queens counterpart, the original Cuts & Slices has become a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a unique pizza experience. The charm of this spot lies not only in its carefully curated menu but also in its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
While the small shop may sometimes draw a crowd, the wait is undeniably worth it for dishes that surprise and delight. As Lawrence C. noted, the oxtail pizza is “cooked to perfection,” yielding flavors that are both rich and hearty, likened to a savory stew on a crust. For those venturing in for the first time, heed the advice of Mavis R.: bring an appetite and a dash of patience, as you will surely want to savor each delectable bite.
Whether you’re dropping by for a quick takeout or planning to dine in, Cuts & Slices promises not just a meal, but a memorable experience that captures the essence of Brooklyn’s culinary creativity. Come for the pizza, stay for the vibe.

“ Each slice of pizza is an experience! From the Lobster n shrimp slice to the oxtail slice. They have such a fantastic variety. You have GOT to try it! ”
“ Babbbbyyy when I tell you, the pizza was a 100000/14! I'm not even exaggerating. I got one slice of the Sweet Chili Chicken Slice Ashley was so nice. The food was soooo good ! I really wish we had one bad at home. The service was amazing. It's very chill. ”
“ Great Pizza I got a Slice of Both I love the Chop Cheese & the Jerk Pizza is 1 Of 1 & I love everything they make #PhilLYLOVE ”
“ What a difference a year makes! I finally tried the OG Cuts and Slices shoppe # 1 in Brooklyn on Howard Avenue. This small business has the same owner as the Queens #2 location. On an early Saturday morning I found parking right outside, there were two people whom already ordered ahead of me. There was no long line around the block as reported in 2023. The slices were excellent quality, the oxtail plain was surprising tastier than the ox with chili oil, had crispy crust for you Portnoy rating fans. Served with courtesy and class. Eat carefully because sometimes has a small bone in the oxtail. Let me not understate how delicious the oxtail is. It is cooked to perfection for hours with all of the spices blended in. It is like having a stew pizza. So delicious! Yeah it's $12 a slice, but you pay for labor and quality. ”
“ I've been to NY on several occasions but this was my first trip experiencing Brooklyn and I couldn't depart without getting a full experience. I had seen the viral Sweet Chili Oxtail pizza at Cuts & Slices on social media and I love oxtail so I couldn't wait to try it on their pizza! Upon arrival, there was a line of people outside waiting on their orders. It started raining a bit and I noticed that there wasn't any in door seating or waiting area, but thankfully I anticipated the rain and had an umbrella that day. After placing my order, there was approximately a 20-30 minute wait which wasn't a long wait time for me. I ordered one slice of the Sweet Chili Oxtail pizza and one slice of the Teriyaki Oxtail pizza. I liked both but I didn't taste a strong distinction in flavors between the two. Although they were both good, I couldn't finish them because I became full relatively quick. If you visit, I'd bring a little bit of patience and a bit of an appetite. Overall, it was a good experience. ”
“ Came on a Saturday afternoon right after than opened. It was crowded inside with a mix of people who were waiting for their orders and a short line to order. The staff were friendly and polite. We got a slice of jerk chicken and brownstew oxtail. We thought it was interesting the cheese was placed on the crust before the toppings. The texture of the crust was chewy. The oxtail slice was not gamey. It was hearty and flavorful. The jerk chicken was standard jerk sauce with a bell peppers and red onions. I personally would've liked it spicier. They had bottles of hot sauce and bbq sauce which I ate with the crust. The bbq sauce was sweet like teriyaki. ”
“ Came here on a quick trip to NY. The bbq chicken pizza was really good. I would've loved some red onions to balance out the chicken and sweetness but it was still good. The jerk chicken Alfredo was ok. The Alfredo was good but it was all I tasted. The chicken lacked flavor. As a non red meat eater, I was told the oxtail slice was just ok. Now the sweet chili oxtail pinwheel was a hit with massive flavor it looked so good too. All in all I would definitely come back for that bbq chicken and to try the jerk chicken slice and the curry slice! ”
“ There was no crazy line today, this place can get really busy. Had the sweet chilli oxtail Slice, always enjoy this slice. The one thing I would change about this pizza is the cheese, not sure what cheese they use, but I'm not crazy about it. But the overall flavor combination is delicious. Service was great, super pleasant with smiles! Will be trying the lobster and shrimp slice next time, it's calling me haha ”
